Radical reaction of alkyl iodides with resin-bound phenylsulfonyl oxime ether 1 and hexamethylditin in benzene at 300 nm for 24 h followed by cleavage of support and the subsequent reduction of oxime ethers 3 with 10% Pd on carbon afforded α-amino esters 6 in reasonable yields.
