1,2,2,2-Tetrachloroethyl carbamates 3 were prepared by the reaction of 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethyl carbonochloridate with amines. Carbamates 3 were then nitrosated and reacted with amines to yield N-nitrosoureas.
