Abstract
We report an original and short synthesis of substituted 3,4-dihydronaphtho[2,3-g]quinoline-2,6,11(1H)-triones by using the tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene or malonate substitution strategies, followed by a one-pot reduction-cyclization reaction.
