Schlaganfall - Therapie

Die folgende Abhandlung beschränkt sich auf die Darstellung der Therapieprinzipien des ischämischen Insultes, der mit über 80 % die weit überwiegende Mehrzahl der Schlaganfälle ausmacht.

Ziel der Akuttherapie ist es, den klinischen Zustand zu stabilisieren, das neurologische Defizit zu bessern, Komplikationen zu vermeiden sowie Maßnahmen einzuleiten, die den Grad der bleibenden Behinderung minimieren und weitere vaskuläre Ereignisse verhindern.
