Neurokardiologische Akutmedizin

Überschneidungsbereiche zwischen Neurologie und Kardiologie existieren in Klinik und Wissenschaft. Seit Mitte der 80er Jahre werden diese Ansätze unter dem Thema Neurokardiologie zusammengefasst. Fortschritte der vaskulären Neurologie, der Neurointensivmedizin und der Kardiologie erfordern eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen Neurologen und Kardiologen in der klinischen und wissenschaftlichen Praxis. Im Folgenden sollen interdisziplinäre neurokardiologische Ansätze aufgezeigt und diskutiert werden.
