Das extramedulläre Plasmozytom

Bei den heterogenen Plasmazell-(PC-)Erkrankungen ist die systemische Erkrankung, das multiple Myelom (MM), von lokalisierten Plasmazell-Erkrankungen abzugrenzen.

Neben dem solitären Plasmozytom des Knochens (»solitary plasmacytoma of the bone« [SPB]) stellt das solitäre extramedulläre Plasmozytom (EMP) eine eigene Entität dar. Diese Erkrankung wurde erstmals im Jahre 1905 von Schridde in einer Arbeit über die »Körnelungen der Plasmazellen« erwähnt [12]. Seither finden sich in der Literatur zahlreiche überwiegend kasuistische Darstellungen. In dieser Arbeit soll der gegenwärtige Kenntnisstand über das EMP dargestellt werden.
