Erratum - Total Synthesis of the Leucetta-Derived Alkaloid Calcaridine A

Since the initial publication of the article in 2009, we discovered in the course of another project that the structures of what we thought were 2-azidoimidazolones 55 and epi-55 are in fact the ring-chain tautomers, imidazotetrazolones 56 and epi-56. These late-stage intermediates were then reduced to afford the natural product and its epimer - the latter was fully confirmed through X-ray crystallography. Although this misassignment does not impact the completion of the synthesis per se, we would like to inform the community about it and correct the record.Therefore, Scheme 9 of the original publication has been corrected and should appear as follows:
