Abstract

A novel one-pot protocol has been developed for the construction of alkenylated 4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one derivatives from 2-aminopyridine in the presence of PTSA. The present approach opens a new way for the formation of C–C and C–N bonds under mild conditions.
