Hintergrund

Die Ausbildung sekundärer epiretinaler Membranen kann als Spätfolge und gelegentlich erstes Indexsymptom eines zurückliegenden Venenastverschlusses beobachtet werden. Traktionsbedingte exzentrische Makulaforamina durch derartige Membranen ohne Anwesenheit von Neovaskularisationsgewebe wurden bisher nur in wenigen Fällen beschrieben [1] [2].
