Suzuki Coupling of an Aminomethyl Equivalent with (Hetero)Aryl Halides

Significance

The one-pot synthesis and the ­Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of potassium Boc-protected aminomethyltrifluoroborate are reported. This synthetic primary aminomethyl equivalent is successfully coupled to electron-rich, -poor and electron-neutral aryl and (hetero)aryl chlorides to provide aminomethyl(hetero)arenes in high yields.
