Significance

This work presents the synthesis and characterization of novel soluble conjugated platinum-containing polyyne polymers containing oxadiazole units. As a consequence of the metal inclusion, these metalopolymers present an intense phosphorescence and their two-photon absorption cross-section has been measured.
