Introduction

Urogenital neoplasms are less frequent in children than in adults, with nephroblastoma (Wilms’ tumor) being the most prevalent one. Cystic renal tumors reported in children include cystic nephroma, cystic partially differentiated nephroblastoma (rare, a variant of Wilms’ tumor with a good prognosis), cystic hamartoma of the renal pelvis, multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma (MCRCC), and cystic metanephric adenoma (CMA). MCRCC and CMA are extremely rare in childhood. To our knowledge, a simultaneous diagnosis of MCRCC and CMA has not been previously published.
