Significance

Iron(II) terpyridine complex 1 immobilized on mesoporous SBA-15 catalyzed the oxidative C-C cross-coupling of tertiary amines with indoles, pyrroles, and alkynes in the presence of tert-butyl hydroperoxide to give the corresponding coupling products in up to 87% yield (19 examples).
