Significance

Metal-catalyzed enantioselective intramolecular hydroamination or hydroalkoxylation is one of the most effective and atom-economical methods to construct enantioenriched heterocycles. This paper presents complementary methods for the efficient synthesis of chiral vinyl isoxolidines, tetrahydrooxazines, and pyrazolidines by gold(I)-catalyzed intramolecular addition of hydrazines and hydroxylamines to allenes.
