Significance
Many of the health problems that beset the elderly may be due to deficiency in the human growth hormone (hGH) that results in neuroendocrine dysregulation. BMS-317180 is an orally active growth hormone secretagogue receptor agonist that has advanced into clinical development. The synthesis shown delivered BMS-317180 on a multi-kilogram scale.
