Notice of Retraction

By this notice, the Publisher of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery retracts from publication the following article: “Spontaneous perforation of the extrahepatic bile duct in infancy: report of two cases and literature review”, written by Sahnoun L, Belghith M, Jouini R, Jallouli M, Maazoun K, Krichene I, Mekki M, Ben Brahim M, Nouri A, published in the April 2007 issue of the Journal (Eur J Pediatr Surg 2007; 17: 132–135) . Due to an inadvertant error on the side of the publisher, the article was published without final approval of the author. This led to the double publication of the article. The Publisher of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery apologises to our readership.
