Qualitativer Test eines theoretischen ätiologischen Modells zur Entwicklung einer Essstörung im Spitzensport

Topathlet:innen stehen unter Druck, der Gesundheit, Gewicht und Aussehen beeinflusst. Wenige Studien untersuchen Stressoren und Essstörungen im Sport. Diese Studie prüft ein Modell zu psychologischen Risiken bei Athlet:innen anhand von Interviews mit Betroffenen und Psycholog:innen. Ergebnisse stützen das Modell, empfehlen aber, „Identifikation“ einzubeziehen und „Perfektionismus“ stärker zu gewichten.
