Zusammenfassung
43 Patienten mit metastasierten Sarkomen wurden entweder mit der Kombination von Vincristin,
Adriamycin und cis-Platin (n = 21) oder mit der Kombination von Ifosfamid und cis-Platin (n = 22) in jeweils dreiwöchigen Abständen behandelt. Auf die erste Kombination
sprachen zehn, auf die zweite neun Patienten mit objektiver Tumorrückbildung an. Die
letzteren Ergebnisse sind besonders bemerkenswert, da 16 der 22 Patienten bereits
mit adriamycinhaltigen Kombinationen vorbehandelt worden waren. Offensichtlich stellt
die Kombination von Ifosfamid und cis-Platin eine erfolgversprechende Alternative bei metastasierten Knochen- und Weichteilsarkomen
dar, besonders dann, wenn die vielfach als Standardbehandlung angesehene CYVADIC-Kombination
ausgeschöpft ist. Die Indikation für im Einzelfalle zusätzlich notwendige chirurgische
oder strahlentherapeutische Maßnahmen bleibt hiervon unberührt.
Abstract
43 patients with metastasizing sarcomas were treated with a combination of either
vincristin, adriamycin and cis-platinum (n = 21) or ifosfamide and cis-platinum at three weeks' intervals in each case. Ten patients responded to the first
combination and nine to the second combination with objective tumor regression. Particularly
the latter result is remarkable since 16 of the 22 patients had already been pretreated
with combinations containing adriamycin. Obviously the combination of ifosfamide and
cis-platinum is a promising alternative in metastasizing sarcomas of the bones and soft
tissue, especially if the CYVADIC combination - wich is often regarded as standard
treatment - remained unsuccessful. This has no bearing on additional surgical measures
or on radiotherapy which may be necessary in some patients.
