Abstract

Aerobic, catalytic oxidation of secondary amines is performed efficiently in the presence of a diruthenium complex catalyst Ru2(OAc)4Cl to give the corresponding imines. The catalytic system is characterized by its high selectivity, activity, and operational simplicity.
