Abstract

[1,2,5]Thiadiazolo[3,4-f][1,10]phenanthroline was prepared using a straightforward and efficient methodology, in four steps, starting from phenanthroline. This compound was fully characterized by mass spectrometry, IR, UV, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and its structure was determined by X-ray crystallography.
