Impfindikationen bei gastroenterologischen Krankheitsbildern (Hepatitis A und B, Pneumokokken, Meningokokken)

Impfungen sind die wichtigste Maßnahme, um Komplikationen und Mortalität von Erkrankungen wie der Hepatitis A und B oder Pneumokokken- und Meningokokken-Infektionen vorzubeugen. Bei Patienten mit chronischen Erkrankungen kommt es oft zu höherer Infektionsrate bzw. schwereren Erkrankungsverläufen mit diesen Erregern, so dass die Impfprophylaxe einen besonders hohen Stellenwert hat. Für gastroenterologische Patienten mit chronischen Krankheitsverläufen soll hier auf die derzeit aktuellen Impferfordernisse eingegangen werden; dabei wird insbesondere auf die aktuellsten Empfehlungen der Ständigen Impfkommission (STIKO) des Robert Koch-Instituts Bezug genommen [12].
