Wachstumshormon und chronische Herzinsuffizienz infolge dilatativer Kardiomyopathie

Die Bedeutung der chronisch-kongestiven Herzinsuffizienz (CHF) infolge einer dilatativen Kardiomyopathie (DCM) ist enorm groß. In den industrialisierten Ländern nimmt die Lebenserwartung stets zu. Vom kardiologischen Blickwinkel aus ist die DCM der »final common pathway« sowohl der sehr prävalenten ischämischen als auch der ebenfalls weit verbreiteten hypertensiven Kardiopathie. Beides zusammengenommen wird die CHF infolge einer DCM in Zukunft deutlich vermehrt diagnostiziert werden.
