An Expedient Synthesis of 1-[3-(Dimethylamino)propyl]-5-methyl-3-phenyl-1H-indazole (FS-32) - An Antidepressant

Abstract

Intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of functionalized sydnone leading to the synthesis of 1-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]-5-methyl-3-phenyl-lH-indazole (FS-32), an antidepressant drug candidate, is described.
