A variety of α-C-l-fucopyranosyl containing C-dissaccharides were stereoselectively synthesized by radical coupling of phenyl 3,4-O-isopropylidene-Se-β-l-fucopyranoside onto an appropriate exo-methylene-sugar, which is temporarily tethered.
