Thermal reactions of the phosphaalkynes 1a-c with terminal alkenes such as allylbenzene, (1S)-(-)-β-pinene, or methylenecyclopentane lead to the corresponding diallyl-substituted phosphanes 9a-c, 11a-c, and 12 as the products of a double ene reaction.
