(Z)-β-Trifluoroacetylvinyltellurides 1 reacted with zinc cuprates 2 via conjugate addition-elimination process to afford corresponding (E)-α,β-unsaturated trifluoromethyl ketones 3, of which configurations were just opposite to (Z)-β-trifluoroacetylvinyltellurides 1, in good yields.
