1,1,3,3-Tetraisopropyldisiloxane-1,3-diyl protected methyl α-D-glucopyranosides were regioselectively glycosylated in good yield with 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-α-D-glucopyranosyl fluoride and diethyl ether-boron trifluoride as the catalyst.
