Treatment of primary allylic phosphates in tetrahydrofuran with Grignard reagents in the presence of an iron catalyst gave cross-coupling products with high SN2 selectivity. Among several phosphate leaving groups, diphenylphosphate ester showed the highest regioselectivity.
