2-Trialkylstannyl-1-alkenes are prepared by palladium-catalyzed, regioselective addition of trialkyl[dimethyl(phenyl)silyl]stannanes to monosubstituted acetylenes and subsequent facile desilylalion with tetrabutylammonium fluoride.
