Activated Thiocarboxylic Esters; 8. Preparation of 2-Oxidithiocarboxylic Esters from Diazoketones Reaction of diazoketones, which are easily available from acid chlorides, with elemental sulfur in the presence of triethylamine, followed by alkylation yields alkyl 2-oxodithiocarboxylates.
