Abstract

The present work describes the synthesis of α-(2-trimethylstannyl)allyl ketones via the palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative allylation of cyclic (2-trimethylstannyl)allyl carboxylates. An example of the synthetic potential for forming polycyclic systems using this methodology is discussed.
