Significance

Magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles catalyzed the cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) of tertiary amines 1 with nitroalkanes 2 or ketone 3 under oxygen to give the corresponding coupling products 4 or 5 in up to 93% yield (16 examples).
