Zusammenfassung
Blutgefäßinjektionen der Leber des Kaninchens, der Katze und des Menschen lassen ein
feines Kapillarnetz um den Ductus hepaticus in der Leber erkennen. Es wird die Hypothese
aufgestellt, daß die Gallengänge resorbieren und das „periduktuläre” Geflecht damit
in Beziehung steht. Neuere histologische Befunde, auf die kurz eingegangen wird, scheinen
diese Interpretation zu stützen.
Summary
Intravascular injection of the liver of rabbits, cats and man have revealed a very
fine capillary net surrounding the hepatic duct. The hypothesis is formulated that
the bile ducts have a reabsorptive function and that the periductular network is related
to this. Histological findings in support of this interpretation are presented.

¿Tienen los conductos biliares una función netamente conductora?
Inyecciones en los vasos sanguíneos del hígado del conejo, del gato y del hombre permiten
reconocer una fina red capilar alrededor del «ductus hepaticus» en el hígado. Se establece
la hipótesis de que los conductos biliares resorben y que el plexo «periductular»
está en relación con ello. Parece que hallazgos histológicos más recientes, reseñados
brevemente, apoyan esta interpretación.
