Zusammenfassung

Mit einfachen Mitteln läßt sich ein System zusammenbauen, das den Bedürfnissen des Kindes angepaßt und damit sowohl relativ ungefährlich als auch wirksam ist. Manchem nicht atmenden Neugeborenen kann damit die Intubation erspart werden.

Summary

A system made out of simple components can be adapted to a given neonate's need and is both relatively harmless and effective. Intubation may thus be unnecessary in many newborns who are breathing poorly.
