Zusammenfassung

Mit 2322 Bronchialabsaugungen bei 2114 Patienten wurden die Leistungsfähigkeit und die Grenze der zytologischen Untersuchung von gezielt gewonnenem Bronchialsekret geprüft. Bei 1006 malignen Lungentumoren betrug die Trefferquote 56%. Die zytologischen Ergebnisse sind abhängig von der Tumorgröße, dem Tumortyp, der Tumorlokalisation und dem Tumorstadium nach dem TNM-System.

Summary

Bronchial secretions were examined cytologically in 2 114 patients (2 322 secretion samples). Among the 1 006 patients with confirmed malignant lung tumour bronchial secretions were positive in 56%. The results depended on the size, type and site of the tumour and its stage according to the TNM system.
