Zusammenfassung

Bei einem 60jährigen Mann traten wiederholt Schüttelfrost, Nasenbluten und petechiale Blutungen auf. Nach Einnahme von 0,125 g Centalun^® (3-Methyl-3-4-dihydroxy-4-phenyl-1-butin), das als einziges Medikament schon früher eingenommen worden war, kam es zu den gleichen Erscheinungen sowie zu Blutungen der Mundschleimhaut. Die Thrombozytenzahl sank von 152 000/mm³ auf 37 000/mm³. Nach Therapie mit Prednisolon und Calcistin^® (25 mg Histapyrrodin + 53 mg ionisiertes Calcium als Gluconat) kam die Blutung zum Stillstand. Centalun wird als Ursache dieser thrombozytopenischen Purpura angesehen. Der Pathomechanismus ist nicht geklärt.

Repeated attacks of rigor, nose bleed and petechial haemorrhages occurred in a 60-year-old man. Trial administration of 0.125 Centalun^® (3,4-dihydroxy-3-methyl-4-phenyl-1-butyne), which had previously been taken as the only drug, produced similar signs and symptoms in addition to bleeding from the buccal mucosa. The platelet count fell from 152,000/mm³ to 37,000/mm³. After treatment with prednisolone and Calcistin^® (25 mg. histapyrrodine + 53 mg. ionized calcium as gluconate) the bleeding stopped. It is assumed that Centalun was the cause of the thrombocytopenic purpura, although the mechanism remains unexplained.

Tras el tratamiento con prednisolona y Calcistin^® (25 mgr de histapirrodina + 53 mgr de calcio ionizado en forma de gluconato) se detuvo la hemorragia.
