Introduction

Due to the similar morphological retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) damage, it is usually difficult to differentiate between eyes with non-arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) and normal tension glaucoma (NTG) [1]. Compared to eyes with NAION that suffer transient non-perfusion or hypoperfusion of the optic nerve head, eyes with NTG are prone to suffer permanently disturbed vascular dysregulation [2], [3]. In order to differentiate between both conditions, we performed a combined electrodiagnostic approach in the presented case.
