Kommunikation ist ein Grundbedürfnis aller Menschen. Nicht kommunizieren zu können
führt zu Einschränkungen der Teilhabe. In diesem Beitrag werden das Portfolio der
Methoden der Unterstützten Kommunikation (UK) für Personen mit speziellen Kommunikationsbedürfnissen
vorgestellt und Rahmenbedingungen umrissen. Spezifische Herausforderungen, die sich
aus der Anwendung von UK ergeben, werden kurz beschrieben.
Abstract
Communication is a basic need of all people. Not being able to communicate leads to
restrictions on participation. This paper presents the portfolio of Augmentative and
Alternative Communication (AAC) methods for people with special communication needs
and outlines the framework conditions. Specific challenges arising from the use of
AAC are briefly described.
