Abstract

A novel procedure for the solid-phase synthesis of 1,3,6-trisubstituted uracils using a polymer-supported selenium resin is described. The advantages of the new method are good yields, high purity, straightforward operations, broad range and high diversity of the products, lack of odor, and good stability of the resins.
