Zusammenfassung

Der Artikel gibt eine Übersicht über die charakteristischen Merkmale einer Gruppe von seltenen aber schweren primären Kopfschmerzsyndromen ohne strukturelle Läsionen, die als sog. Trigeminoautonome Kopfschmerzen zusammengefasst werden. Die eigentlichen Schmerzen sind begleitet von autonomen Symptomen wie einer konjunktivalen Injektion, Lakrimation, Rhinorrhö, Ptosis oder einer Augenlidschwellung. Der Artikel fasst die diagnostischen Kriterien, die Epidemiologie und die Therapie dieser Kopfschmerzerkrankungen zusammen.

Abstract

This review describes the characteristics of some rare severe primary headache syndromes without any structural lesions, which are summarized as the trigemino-autonomic headaches. Pain in these syndromes is associated with autonomic symptoms such as conjunctival injection, lacrimation, rhinorrhoe, ptosis or eyelid edema. This article summarizes the diagnostics, epidemiology and therapy of these conditions.
