Auch gut evaluierte psychotherapeutische Behandlungsansätze bei Depressionen wirken noch nicht nachhaltig genug. Die Frage ist: Wie ließe sich dieser Zustand ändern? Die Autoren dieses Beitrags stellen die Expositionsbasierte kognitive Therapie bei Depressionen (EBCT) vor – und zwar als einen Versuch, bei dem die Nachhaltigkeit der kognitiven Verhaltenstherapie durch gezielte Förderung der emotionalen Verarbeitung gesteigert werden soll.
