Zusammenfassung

In dieser Übersicht werden die Grundlagen, Technik, Auswertekriterien des normalen frühen akustisch evozierten Potenzials (FAEPs) vorgestellt. Weiterhin gehen wir auf neurologische Erkrankungen ein, die mit pathologischen FAEPs einhergehen können.

Abstract

In this review we address the anatomic and technical aspects of early auditory evoked potentials (EAEPs) as well as their diagnostic criteria. We also present the most relevant neurological diseases which may be associated with abnormal EAEP findings.
