Leitsymptom Erbrechen – Differenzialdiagnostik für den Notarzt

Erbrechen ist ein Symptom mittlerer Häufigkeit in der hausärztlichen Praxis. In der Regel tritt es gemeinsam mit dem Gefühl der Übelkeit auf und ist für den Patienten subjektiv überaus unangenehm. Die zugrunde liegenden Ursachen sind vielfältig, können aber häufig auf der Basis von Anamnese und klinischer Untersuchung mit hinreichender Genauigkeit geklärt werden. Wichtig ist die rechtzeitige Identifikation von Alarmsymptomen, die ein unmittelbares Handeln und gegebenenfalls eine stationäre Einweisung erfordern.

Vomiting is a common symptom in general practice. In the majority of cases, it is preceded by nausea and highly distressing for the patient. Vomiting can be triggered by a myriad of underlying causes. However, in most cases history taking and clinical examination will suffice to identify the etiology.
