Transcorneale Phakektomie mit dem Vitreous Stripper

Indikationen, Operationstechnik und Resultate in 48 Fällen von weichen Katarakten, welche mit dem Vitreous Stripper nach Klöti extrakapsulär operiert wurden. Nachstardiscissionen waren nur sehr selten nötig. Die korneale Inzision ist sehr klein (˜1,8 mm), wodurch es möglich wird, diesen Eingriff beim Erwachsenen ambulant durchzuführen.

Summary

Indications, surgical technique and results of 48 cases of soft cataracts, operated by transcorneal lensectomy with the vitreous stripper are presented. Complications are rare with this type of surgery and discissions for secondary cataracts only rarely necessary. The corneal incision is small (˜1,8 mm) and allows to perform this operation on an out patient basis in the adult.
