Resultate und Komplikationen der gleichzeitigen perforierenden Keratoplastik und Kataraktoperation

Zusammenfassung

Die Resultate und Komplikationen von 49 gleichzeitigen perforierenden Keratoplastiken und Kataraktoperationen der Jahre 1976-1981 werden mit einer ersten Reihe von Eingriffen der Periode 1968-1976 verglichen. Die häufigste intraoperative Komplikation ist weiterhin der Glaskörperverlust (31%). Das postoperative Sekundärglaukom ist von 42% der ersten Reihe auf 18% der zweiten Reihe signifikant zurückgegangen. Bei einer durchschnittlichen Dauer der Verlaufskontrolle von 2,75 Jahre finden sich heute statistisch nicht mehr klare Transplantate (80%) und keine besseren Visusresultate (76%) als in der ersten Berichtsperiode.

Summary

The results of 49 combined procedures (penetrating keratoplasty and cataract extraction) performed between 1976 and 1981, and the complications which occurred, are compared with a previous series (1968-1976). The most frequent intraoperative complication is loss of the vitreous (31%), requiring anterior vitrectomy. The occurrence of secondary glaucoma postoperatively was reduced from 42 in the first series to 18% in the second. After a mean follow-up time of 2.75 years the results from the second series are no better than those from the first as regards clarity of transplants (80%) and improvement in visual acuity (76%).
