Bei fehlender Aktion des Levators kann das Oberlid mit einer Fascia lata-Schlinge mit dem M. frontalis verbunden werden (Technik von Crawford). Anhand der eigenen Fälle werden die Ergebnisse diskutiert und die Indikationen zum Eingriff definiert.

Summary

Suspension of the lid from the frontalis muscle is indicated if levator action is weak or absent. At the author's clinic a modified Crawford technique with fascia lata double slings is used. Nine successfully treated cases are described and the advantages and drawbacks of the technique are discussed.
