Messung der optischen Dichte des Sehnervenkopfes-Schwankungen der Papillenhelligkeit

Zusammenfassung

Mit einem orthochromatischen Film läßt sich die Abblassung der Papille unter künstlicher Druckerhöhung photographieren und mit einem Photoscanner ausmessen. Es zeigt sich jedoch, dass die wiederholte Photographie der unbeeinflußten Papille ziemliche Schwankungen ergibt. Diese lassen sich stark vermindern, wenn die Photos bei angehaltenem Atem in jeweils gleicher Atemlage gemacht werden. Ein eventueller Zusammenhang des Rottones der Papille mit dem zentralvenösen Druck wird diskutiert.

Summary

The pallor of the optic disk during acute increases in intraocular pressure can be shown on the negatives of orthochromatic films and can be measured by a photoscanner. However, consecutive photographs of the optic nerve head show fluctuations in its optical density. Several photographs taken while the volunteer held his breath show a considerable decrease in the fluctuations. Therefore it may be assumed that the fluctuations are due not only to the error of the method, but also to pulsating phenomenon. Optical density of the papilla might interfere with central venous pressure.
