Durch den Nachweis des Morbus Behçet beim Probanden sind die ebenfalls genetisch bedingten monosymptomatischen Aphthen anderer Familienmitglieder zur malignen Aphthöse zu rechnen. Auch bei der seronegativen juvenilen rheumatoiden Polyarthritis ohne Allgemeinsymptomatik mit Uveitis anterior spielen genetische Faktoren eine Rolle.

Diagnosis of Behçet's disease in a subject implies that the monosymptomatic aphthae in other members of the family, which are also caused by genetic factors, should be considered as malignant aphthosis. In seronegative juvenile rheumatoid arthritis without common symptoms with anterior uveitis, genetic factors also play an important role.
