Okuloglanduläres Syndrom und Ophthalmia nodosa

Die Autoren beschreiben einen Fall von Ophthalmia nodosa mit okuloglandulärem Syndrom bei einem Patienten, welcher 6œ Monate zuvor von einer Katze angegriffen wurde und bei welchem der „catscratch disease antigen test” positiv ausfiel. Die Möglichkeit, dass dem okuloglandulären Syndrom die Reaktivation eines latenten Virus (Erreger der Katzenkratzkrankheit) zugrunde liegt, wird diskutiert.

Summary

A case of ophthalmia nodosa associated with an oculoglandular syndrome is described. The patient, scratched by a cat six-and-a-half months earlier, presented a positive cat-scratch disease antigen test. The possibility that the oculoglandular syndrome is due to the reactivation of a latent virus, the cause of cat-scratch disease, is discussed.
