Juvenile Cataracta zonularis und familiäre Xanthomatosis cerebrotendinosa
Vorstellung von zwei Fällen gleicher Natur von Cataracta zonularis im Rahmen der seltenen
Krankheit der zerebro-tendinösen Xanthomatosis. Diese Krankheit zeichnet sich durch
Fettspeicherung in den Sehnen, neurologische Symptome und einen niedrigen Intelligenzquotienten
aus. Es handelt sich um eine rezessiv vererbte Affektion. Ihre Physiopathogenese und
Biochemie werden zusammen mit der neuesten Literatur diskutiert.
Summary
The present paper describes two cases, with the same type of zonular cataract associated
with the rare disease of cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis. The disease is characterized
by lipopexia in the Achilles' tendons, neurologic symptoms and low IQ. The mode of
inheritance is autosomal recessive. The physiopathology and biochemistry of the disease
are discussed with reference to recent publications.
